For August's letter, we are traveling back to ancient Italy to uncover a truly bizarre piece of history.
Before the Romans, the Etruscans believed the gods communicated by leaving physical, cryptic messages hidden in nature. In 1877, a farmer dug up one of these ancient warning signs: a life-sized bronze artifact mapping out the domains of forgotten deities. I had so much fun diving into the strange history of this relic, and I've paired this month's letter with a curated collection of nostalgic, interactive fortune-telling extras so you can decode the mystery yourself.

What is Myloville?
Named in honor of my late dog, Mylo, MyloVille is a monthly snail mail club dedicated to uncovering bizarre, mostly forgotten pieces of real history.
Every month, you'll receive:

- alongside uniquely designed, interactive artifacts to complete the experience.
It's a nice way to create moments away from the digital world and escape reality for a bit, while discovering seriously cool parts of our history.

When does my letter ship?
All letters leave MyloVille around the 8th of every month! If the 8th happens to fall on a weekend, we will drop them in the mail the very next Monday.
To get the next upcoming story, just make sure you subscribe by the last day of the previous month. For example: If you join our club anytime in July, your very first dispatch will ship out around August 8th!
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
MyloVille is located in sunny Portugal, so all of our campfire tales ship directly from there to the following locations:
- European Union & UK
Here is roughly how long it takes the postman to reach you once your envelope is mailed:
- Portugal: 2–3 business days
- Europe: 3–10 business days
- International: 5–15 business days
how much is the shipping?
The shipping is included in the price. To be able to do this (since my letters are between 40 and 50 grams), all letters will be sent without tracking.
If your letter gets lost in the mail, no worries. Just reach out, and we will come to a good solution. (refund or resend).
Do I need to subscribe or can I get a single letter?
The decision is all yours. If you want to test the waters first, then that is absolutely ok.

What if my letter gets lost in the mail?
I use standard mail to keep the subscription as affordable as possible without having to charge extra shipping fees.
But I know that things occasionally get lost in transit. If your letter hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframes (see question #1), please send me an email. I’ll look into it and send out a replacement right away so your story isn't interrupted.
